Overloading ourselves with endless information and opinions diminishes our self-awareness and clarity. Take a pause, question everything, and consciously reclaim your individuality to truly own yourself.

Our brains are constantly flooded with hot topics, trends, and breaking news. The world doesn’t encourage us to stay calm and relaxed. Someone, somewhere, is always trying to sell us aspirations, success formulas, dreams, happiness, sadness, achievement, trauma, or anything else they think we need to know.

It's always present, but technology has accelerated its pace a hundredfold, making us believe that everything reaching us is important. We feel we own these ideas, share them, polish them, and invest our valuable efforts in buying into that perspective.

People who understand this sensation leverage it for self-fulfilling outcomes, while the vulnerable are left consumed and confused.

It's becoming increasingly difficult to focus on one damn thing long enough, as many opinions question our intentions, offering us solutions and shortcuts.

We are being trained to lose our self-awareness. Kids who ask why we should do certain things often appear as troublemakers to their parents, suppressing their self-awareness and attitude to question vagueness. They are rarely provided the time to think and to ask why. There is always a rush. We don’t know, so we don’t encourage or respect others who do.

The result? It’s becoming a lifetime pursuit for many of us to understand who we are, what we want, and most importantly, what makes us happy and fulfilled. It’s essential to bring back our self-awareness.

“If you end up with a boring miserable life because you listened to your mom, your dad, your teacher, your priest, or some guy on television telling you how to do your shit, then you deserve it.” ― Frank Zappa

The majority of our problems and battles are inside our minds, originating from the narratives we believe, the people we look up to, the paths we take, and our perspectives. Yet, we often resist questioning our choices deeply enough to understand ourselves better.

Own your individuality consciously, and you will own yourself.

Questioning everything deliberately that comes our way is the only way to save ourselves from someone who is trying to commoditize our time and attention.

Anytime you lose clarity or feel overwhelmed by your surroundings, it's time to take a pause, step aside, and take a deep breath. It will bring back your consciousness and give you the ability to refocus.

Own your individuality consciously, and you will own yourself.
