About me.

Designing Clarity in Complex Product Spaces.

I’m Kiran, a product designer working across strategy, UX, and execution. I help teams make sense of complex product problems and shape clear direction that holds up in real-world constraints.

My work sits close to early decisions, where clarity matters more than polish.

🧐 What I Do

I work on defining problems, shaping product direction, and designing solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

I have over a decade of experience working on new products and complex existing systems, often in ambiguous or early-stage environments. I am comfortable owning problem spaces end-to-end, from discovery through execution.

With a background in front-end development, I work closely with engineers, understand technical tradeoffs, and design with implementation in mind.

☸️ How I Work

I value clarity, ownership, and thoughtful decision-making. I work best in environments where problems are openly explored, tradeoffs are discussed honestly, and design is treated as a thinking discipline, not just execution.

🎭 Beyond Design

Outside of work, I enjoy long runs, exploring new places, and practising mindfulness. I am interested in behavioural psychology, digital art, and food, and how they shape human behaviour and experience.

Standards I Work By

These principles guide how I approach problems, make decisions, and collaborate. They are not ideals I advertise, but standards I hold myself accountable to in my work.

Clarity Over Cleverness

I prioritise clear thinking over impressive solutions. If an idea cannot be explained simply and withstand scrutiny, it is not ready to move forward.

Thoughtful Collaboration

I value open dialogue and respectful challenge. The best work emerges when ideas are questioned honestly, without ego or forced agreement.

Judgment Before Execution

I focus on framing the right problem before designing solutions. Strong outcomes come from understanding constraints, tradeoffs, and what should be left undone.

Long-Term Thinking

I care about work that holds up over time. Sustainable pace, maintainability, and future impact matter more than short-term wins.

Ownership of Outcomes

I take responsibility for the decisions I help shape. Accountability applies equally to success, failure, and everything learned along the way.

Continuous Refinement

I believe good work is never static. I make space to reflect, learn, and improve, both in how products evolve and how I show up.
